What is the AMW ai Vault?
A private AI assistant that runs on a machine in your own office, on your own network, with no connection to the internet. Your team uses it in a web browser to ask questions, search the office's own documents, draft letters and emails, keep meeting notes and track bill and contract dates.
Is it just a chatbot?
No. You can talk anything through with it, and it also answers from your documents with the page the answer came from. It drafts from your files, compares versions, records meetings, turns scans and phone photos into searchable documents and reminds you of deadlines.
How fast is it?
Answers can come back in about 4 seconds on the AMW ai Vault Ultra (RTX PRO 6000, 96 GB). Smaller Vaults give the same answers more slowly, and every size answers one question at a time, in turn.
Can several people use it at once?
Yes. Everyone in your office can sign in, with no charge per person. If two people ask at the same moment, the second sees a short note that a question is ahead of theirs, then the answer.
Privacy
Does it connect to the internet?
No. It has no connection to the internet and no remote access, not even for AMW ai. Updates are installed in person, and the Vault accepts only software signed by AMW ai.
Is the AMW ai Vault air-gapped?
No. A truly air-gapped system has no network connection at all. The AMW ai Vault connects to your office's local network so your staff can use it, but it has no internet connection and no remote access, including from AMW ai. All installation and service is done in person.
Does the AMW ai Vault help with HIPAA?
It can help. The AMW ai Vault processes everything locally, on hardware your practice owns, in your office. Patient data isn't sent to the cloud or to AMW ai. Using the Vault doesn't make a practice HIPAA compliant on its own, though. Your practice is still responsible for its HIPAA safeguards, including who can use the Vault and what gets exported from it. When AMW ai services a Vault that holds patient data, we sign a Business Associate Agreement with your practice.
Can other people in the office see my files?
Not your private ones. Each person signs in, and each person can keep a private folder that no one else in the office can see or search.
Buying and owning
How much does it cost?
The machine is priced on its own and is yours. A one time setup visit installs it, and one plan for software and service, paid quarterly, covers the license, updates and in person support, with no charge per person or per question. See current prices in the pricing section.
Does AMW ai publish its prices?
Yes. Every price is listed in the pricing section: the machine, a one time setup visit, and one flat quarterly plan for the whole office. There are no per user, per question, or usage fees, and hardware repair trips are a flat fee.
Do I own the hardware?
Yes. You buy the machine and own it outright, a business asset. Ask your tax advisor how best to deduct it.
Is it a purchase or a lease?
A purchase. The machine is yours, and the software is licensed under a one year agreement that renews each year, paid quarterly in advance. Pay for the whole year up front and save 5%.
How long does it take to get one?
Each Vault is built to order as a full size office computer. From order to installation usually takes about two weeks, depending on parts, and it is delivered to your office by hand.
Support and service area
How is it supported?
In person. Alex comes to your office for setup, updates and support, and most problems are fixed right there. If the machine ever has to come to our workshop, it goes only with your permission, and your documents stay on its encrypted drives.
What if the hardware fails?
Its parts carry their makers' own warranties, and we handle the claim and fit the replacement for you. Labor is covered for the first year; outside warranty, parts are at cost, plus a flat fee per repair trip. Software problems are always fixed at no charge.
Where is AMW ai based?
In Draper, Utah. We serve offices in Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, Weber and Summit counties.
Do you serve offices outside Utah?
We serve offices within about an hour of Draper, from Ogden to Provo and up to Park City, because every installation and visit is in person.
